The Town of Hebron has announced its Earth Day annual cleanup of town roadsides on Saturday, April 19th from 9 am to noon.
Hebron Town Supervisor, Brian Campbell said, “We are encouraging residents to take pride in their community by removing trash and debris from the roads, trails, and stream sides. This is the fifth consecutive year that Hebron residents will be volunteering to make our community cleaner and safer.”
Supervisor Campbell went onto say, “That day will also be an open house of the new Highway Garage at the Chamberlin Mills Road site.”
Heavy-duty bags and disposable gloves can be picked up at the Town of Hebron Highway Garage, 660 Chamberlin Mills Road. Vouchers for a free ice cream at the Battenkill Creamery will be given to the first 15 volunteers who return filled bags to the Highway Garage. Household waste will not be accepted.
